Our Mission

To provide Black and Latino male high school students and their families for college success by providing guidance, mentorship, and exposure to models of excellence.

Program Overview

This high school-to-college initiative is the first of its kind in the Lehigh Valley and will provide Black and Latino males who are entering grades 10, 11, and 12 with a comprehensive experience to learn about the college search process. Additionally, we will facilitate a series of conversations, provide mentorship, and offer counsel on the process of navigating college as a Black or Latino male. This cohort of young men from high schools in the Lehigh Valley region will learn from local Black and Latino male leaders in business, education, the faith community, government, and the nonprofit sector. The program will include social gatherings to create bonds, group discussions that promote introspection, and networking opportunities to enhance the students’ interpersonal skills. Additionally, a number of invited guests and local leaders will facilitate keynote presentations to provide inspiration, hope, motivation, and positive models of Black and Latino male success.

This experience is 100% FREE with a value of more than $1,000 and includes:

  • Housing
  • Meals
  • Social gatherings
  • Group discussions that promote introspection
  • Mentorship from local leaders
  • Networking opportunities
