Financial Aid Eligibility
The financial aid that's awarded during a student's freshman year is normally renewable from year-to-year, provided that evidence of the student's need remains (in the case of need-based awards), that funds continue to be available, and that the student maintains Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) toward the degree.
FAFSA
Students must apply for aid every year by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) online at The FAFSA for the upcoming academic year (2025-26) will launch in December 2024. All students are encouraged to file their FAFSA as close to the launch date as possible. To maximize financial aid, including institutional grants, students should apply no later than Moravian's priority date of February 1.
Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP)
To continue receiving federal, state, and institutional financial aid, students must meet the minimum standards for Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) as described in our Satisfactory Academic Progress Policy for Financial Aid.
