Moravian College to host a screening of the documentary “Fix It: Healthcare at the Tipping Point” and a Q&A with the Executive Producer Richard Master

BETHLEHEM, PA., February 21, 2018: Today, announced that it will host a screening of on Tuesday, February 27 at 7:00 p.m. in Foy Concert Hall on the Priscilla Payne Hurd campus of Moravian College.  The event will include a post-screening question and answer session with Richard Master, executive producer and the founder and ceo of MCS Industries Inc. of Easton, PA.  The event is part of the Moravian College InFocus program, which in the 2017-2018 academic year includes a focus on how a culture’s particular system of production impacts the scope and nature of its health care resources. 

“We are thrilled to have Mr. Master join us to examine this timely and important topic on Moravian’s campus,” commented Dr. Sabrina Terrizzi, InFocus program co-director and assistant professor of economics and business at Moravian. “This is an opportunity for us to engage our community in dialogue about how we can reduce the costs of healthcare, improve our health outcomes, and provide relief to our small business owners, nonprofit organizations, and entrepreneurs who struggle to provide affordable health insurance options to their employees or families.”

Mr. Master has an active interest in public policy with particular focus on finding practical, common sense solutions to problems that many characterize as too complex to tackle. Early in his career, he served as a trial lawyer, Civil Rights Division, US Department of Justice. He is a graduate of the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania and Columbia University, School of Law.
