INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. --- Moravian College Vice President for Student Life and Dean of Students Dr. Nicole Loyd has been selected as part of the NCAA Division III Athletics Direct Report Institute 2021 cohort.
Twenty athletics direct reports were selected to attend the sixth annual ADR Institute, to be conducted virtually January 13-14, in conjunction with the 2021 NCAA Convention. The purpose of the program is to engage Division III ADRs in best practices to oversee and manage athletics departments and to improve the relationships between ADRs and their presidents, athletics directors and conference commissioners. Loyd is one of two Landmark Conference participants in the cohort as she is joined by Judi Biggs Garbuio from The Catholic University of America.
Loyd arrived at Moravian in 2008. Loyd earned a Ph.D. in Higher Â鶹¹û¶³ from the University of Virginia and Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Â鶹¹û¶³ from Bucknell University. Loyd has been serving in the ADR role since 2016, and as a former D1 Water Polo Player at Bucknell, genuinely embraces the important role of varsity athletics on a college campus. In addition to her responsibilities at Moravian, Loyd serves as a consultant inside and outside of higher education on the topics of Strategic Planning, Generations and Emotional Intelligence.
