Bethlehem, PA, June 18, 2019: Today, announced that it will offer new Graduate-level nursing programs to address the growing market need for experienced and qualified nursing professionals. Classes will be offered in the evenings to accommodate busy work schedules, personalized clinical placements will be provided and each program director will design an individualized plan of study for each nursing student.
Beginning in the fall of 2019, the following new nursing programs will be offered at the Moravian College Main Street campus and the :
- Master of Science, Family Nurse Practitioner
- Masters of Science, Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner
- Masters of Science, Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner
- Post-Master's Certification for Nurse Practitioner Acute Care
- Post-Master's Certification for Nurse Practitioner Primary Care
- Post-Master's Certification Family Nurse Practitioner
"The addition of the family nurse practitioner program, along with post masters certification programs, will meet the needs of patients across the lifespan,” said Dr. Kathy Gray, director of MSN-nurse practitioner programs at Moravian College. “Due to the physician shortage in primary care, our aging population, and the increase in chronic disease states, nurse practitioners are in demand and highly qualified primary care providers of healthcare.”
